Advanced Analytics in Wells Fargo
Menglin Cao is a Senior Vice President with the Data Management & Insight Organization at Wells Fargo Bank. A 12-year Wells Fargo veteran, Menglin has held various leadership roles in both Marketing and Risk organizations, spanning across Consumer, Middle Market, and Wholesale businesses. Currently she leads the Enterprise Text and Speech Analytics Center of Excellence, focusing on Natural Language Processing (NLP) including semantic analysis, sentiment analysis, and cognitive capabilities. Her team builds and delivers advanced analytics solutions and capabilities to lines of business across Wells Fargo.
Menglin teaches “Data Visualization”, a Wells Fargo training course and has guest lectured to universities including SJSU and Berkeley Ischool’s Master of Information and Data Science (MIDS) program. She is also a veteran guest speaker on Bay Area’s KTSF Channel 26.
She received her Ph.D., MA, and BA in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Mauro Cardenas is SVP of analytics at Wells Fargo, where he heads the enterprise analytics solutions team, which is focused on delivering advanced analytics to optimize customer experience. A graduate of Stanford University, he has been recently selected by the Hay Festival as one of the best young Latin American novelists.
